I’m Alex Purkis.
I have raised four kids who are out of school and well into their careers. The eldest two are married, and I have two grandkids from one of them. I have an adopted 11-year-old girl and twin 15-year-old step-sons who are 3-sport athletes. I am an avid mountain biker but have many other outdoor sporting interests.
After selling my Houston business of 19 years in late, 2020, I moved to Bentonville, AR mid-year 2021, remarried, and moved to Grove, OK in March of 2022. We are proud to serve both the NWA and NEO areas, including all of Grand Lake.
2023 makes my 32nd year in the home entertainment industry. I started way back in 1991, installing alarms, intercoms, central vacuums, and surround sound systems.
I have laid hands on everything from beta cassettes and laser discs to 4K UHD streaming video players and ultra-wide 2.35:1 motorized projection systems. Somewhere along the way, I realized the beauty in simplicity.
I promote reliable systems with less integrated hardware to go wrong. Instead, I guide my clients to invest in quality entertainment gear with just the right amount of concealment and redundant controls when needed.
In short, I have paid close attention to home entertainment trends, successes, and failures for over three decades.
